    We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Disclosure Clerk to join our client’s Team!

    Our client is seeking an integral team player to assist the overall team in achieving the goals and ensuring all processes run seamlessly and clients are provided with timely, efficient, and highly accomplished representation. If you are detailed-focussed, have strong organization skills and are comfortable working with large volumes of financial documents under tight deadlines, this may be the position for you!

    We are looking for a results-oriented person who can manage competing timelines and tasks in an effective and resourceful manner, while ensuring that all documents are properly categorized and tracked in the case management systems.

    Responsibilities:

    • Organizing and tracking financial disclosure on all client files
    • Documentation and maintaining an ongoing database 
    • Preparing client financial disclosure for release to opposing counsel.
    • Completing and filing of Disclosure Statement packages with the Courts
    • Communicating with, and keeping the lawyers up to date and informed of the status and completeness of financial disclosure on all client files
    • Assist in drafting preliminary summaries and inputting data into property charts based on financial disclosure received from clients and opposing parties
    • Documenting and tracking documents received from Questioning under oath, whether given by our clients or received from opposing parties
    • Training and mentoring junior staff on the competencies and skills required for efficient and accurate financial disclosure

    Qualifications:

    • Legal Assistant Diploma from recognized Canadian Institution or Equivalent
    • Bookkeeping or Accountancy background
    • 3 to 5 years’ experience in document management is preferred.
    • Strong attention to detail and quality are required.
    • Strong team orientation and partnership skills are required.
    • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines and manage competing tasks and demands.
    • Experience with Clio, NetDocs, Adobe Pro, is preferred, or experience with other case management and document management systems preferred.
    • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially in Excel
    • Familiarity and comfort with working with complex financial documents, including tax returns, bank statements and corporate documents, and large volumes of paper documentation

    Our Calgary downtown client is looking for a Real Estate Legal Assistant who will provide administrative and legal support to lawyers within the Real Estate group. The ideal candidate will seize this opportunity to grown within a top-tier firm environment.  This is a Hybrid position with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.

    We are seeking a Law Clerk to join our Medical Defence Law team, supporting professionals in this specialized area of health law. The successful candidate brings strong civil litigation experience, excels in a collaborative environment, and demonstrates a genuine interest in medical defence matters. 

    Responsibilities

    • Manage intake of new matters, including initial file set‑up, deadline tracking, and ongoing file maintenance
    • Liaise professionally with clients, physicians, experts, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders
    • Review medical records and litigation materials to assess case issues, identify next steps, and ensure compliance with critical deadlines
    • Independently prepare high‑quality documentation, including medical chronologies, correspondence, memoranda, expert materials, and court documents
    • Organize, track, and maintain both physical and electronic file documentation, including expert packages and related exhibits
    • Support professionals throughout all stages of the litigation process, including interlocutory applications, questioning, trial, and appeal
    • Provide mentoring and training support to junior team members, as required
    • Perform other related duties as assigned 

    Qualifications 

    Required
     

    • Legal Administrative Assistant Diploma, with preference for Paralegal or Law Clerk Certification from a recognized post‑secondary institution
    • Minimum five years of civil litigation experience, ideally in medical or professional liability defence
    • Strong understanding of the civil litigation process
    • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and attention‑to‑detail skills
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and take direction
    • Proven ability to manage a heavy and varied workload
    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Demonstrated experience mentoring or training others
