    About the Role:

    In this permanent, in-office Controller position, where you will oversee the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of internal financial reporting while ensuring strict adherence to confidentiality. You will provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic planning and performance management, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will establish and maintain robust controls that protect financial data and support compliant, informed decision-making.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards (ASPE).
    • Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of financial data.
    • Lead financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend reporting, and performance reviews, to support strategic and operational decisions.
    • Coordinate and review budgeting and forecasting processes, providing clear financial insights and recommendations to management.
    • Monitor and enforce compliance with data privacy regulations and internal policies related to financial information.
    • Manage the secure handling, storage, and transmission of confidential financial records and reports.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve the quality and reliability of financial information.

    Key Requirements:

    • Experience in a Sr Account, Assistant Controller or Controller position within a small, private company (ASPE), entrepreneurial environment.
    • Strong track record in maintaining confidentiality and handling highly sensitive financial information.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and present clear insights.
    • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial work.
    • Effective communication skills, with the ability to work discreetly and collaboratively with senior stakeholders.

    Qualifications:

    • CPA Designation with 2+ years post designation experience.

  • Project Manager

    Our client a construction related organization is seeking a Project Manager to join their growing team.  This is a full-time, permanent position; a P.Eng with distribution and civil scopes will be given preference for the PM opportunity.

    The Project Manager is responsible for the safe, timely, and profitable delivery of Distribution and Civil projects across Western Canada. This role manages multiple simultaneous projects, prioritizing construction excellence through expert communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Financial Oversight: Direct accountability for project financials, including precise forecasting, cost estimating, and accruals.
    • Collaboration: Partners with Construction, Quality, HSSE, Engineering, and Fleet teams to exceed client expectations.
    • Strategic Execution: Leads EPC projects using in-depth knowledge of substation sequencing, procurement strategies, and engineering design lifecycles.
    • Continuous Improvement: Identifies opportunities to enhance project delivery and the overall customer experience.

    Required Qualifications

    • Experience: 10+ years in Project Management, with 5+ years specifically managing construction.

    • Leadership: Proven ability to resolve complex technical issues and foster long-term client relationships.

  • PMO Specialist

    Our team is seeking a PMO Specialist for our client, located in Calgary. The PMO Specialist acts as a strategic architect for project delivery, responsible for assessing, implementing & optimizing PMO processes/systems. This role bridges the gap between various regions functional groups to ensure interdepartmental alignment, innovation & cost-effective operations. Those experienced in the utility sector and building out processes will be given preference.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Governance & Compliance: Establish a structured governance framework using a Quality Management System (QMS). Leading the organization toward ISO 9001 Certification by defining universal standards, templates & methodologies.
    • Process Optimization: Identify efficiency gains & devise innovative workflows to enhance project delivery. You will issue & resolve Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to drive continuous improvement.
    • Stakeholder Alignment: Engage with executive leadership to ensure project initiatives match long-term corporate goals. You will collaborate closely with IT and Quality Managers to align corporate initiatives.
    • Training & Auditing: Develop and track QMS training for all employees and execute an annual audit plan to verify the effectiveness of PMO procedures.

    Requirements

    • 10+ years in Construction Delivery, PM & EPC environments with significant operations management experience.
    • Deep knowledge of project management analysis, business planning & strategy.
    • Advanced MS Office & Visio proficiency with the ability to manage high-pressure deadlines/meticulous detail.
    • Utility experience & process building experience is a must; knowing how to write a process, procedure & how to create workflows.

    We are seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant with 3-5 years experience in a Legal Assistant role. This individual will join a team of other legal assistants providing dedicated assistance within the Litigation practice group.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supporting the Litigation practice of Associates and Partners
    • Preparing and revising correspondence and e-mails
    • Transcribing, editing and modifying documents
    • Performing all administrative tasks related to the position, including booking meetings, travel arrangements, events
    • Working closely with other administrative staff to ensure professionals have comprehensive administrative support
    • Participate in special projects as required

    Skills and Experience Required:

    • Legal Assistant Certificate or Diploma
