Our client, an established and regarded financial services firm is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their growing team. This position will support the growing needs of the finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a track record of demonstrating sound and critical thinking and have a logical approach to their work. Strong use of MS Excel will be required for this position. New grads or those with 1-3 years of experience and strong MS Excel skills will be given preference.
Reporting to the senior leadership team duties will include but not be limited to;
- Full cycle accounting, including quarterly reporting
- Preparation of financial statements
- Monitor both AR and AP balances while also ensuring payments are documented and accurate
- Prepare JE’s for investor transactions
- Bank reconciliation and supporting schedules, financial statements and tax returns
