Our client, a boutique public practice firm with locations across Alberta is seeking a Sr Accountant to grow our busy team.
This is an in-office position throughout the week, with flexibility to compliment your work life balance.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years public practice, and a post-secondary degree/diploma. Our client is open to non-designated, and or pursuing/designated professionals to join our thriving team. Their team offers a welcoming and engaging environment with a family oriented culture. Those experienced with CaseWare, TaxCycle and Taxprep software’s will be given preference.
Duties will include but not be limited to;
- Preparation and review of year-end engagements (compilation, review, audits) and tax returns for clients in a variety of businesses and non-profit enterprises
- Working closely with clients and providing exceptional client service
- Preparation of corporate and personal tax returns (T1, T2s, T3s, GST)
- Effective communication with our clients, government agencies, management and team
