Our client, a well establish accounting firm is seeking an Accounting Manager and Senior to Intermediate Accounting Professionals to join their busy team. These are in office position, not hybrid or remote.
The ideal candidate for the Accounting Manager position will be a CPA with 5+ years public practice experience within a small to mid-size firm environment. Additionally we are also seeking Intermediate to Senior Accountants with 3-5 years public accounting firm experience.
Reporting to the Partners, duties will include but not be limited to;
- Leadership, mentoring and review of staff work and work load distribution/scheduling
- Experience with compilation engagements, personal tax and corporate tax
- Experience with CaseWare and Taxprep software and those with exposure to Profile software is also desired
- CPA’s in good standing and or those who are actively students in the CPA program
- Open to those seeking future Partner opportunities given years of experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills are critical
Located in Markham with onsite parking for staff.
